The name is Lars. I am a 27-year-old guy. I have been working as Registered Nurse for about 5 years, at this time. Throughout my life, I have dipped and dabbled into tons of different hobbies and interests, woodwork among them. Woodwork, or carpentry, felt a little different, though. It held a particular sense of… “zen” for me, if you will. There is a mixed sense of relaxation and free creativity that pulls me into each project. Not to mention, creating something is just rewarding - the kind of “rewarding” that comes back around at the end of each project. This year, 2024, I have set out on a goal to develop a carpentry business that one day turns over high end artisan furniture. Additionally, clocking in at a hospital as the only form of income just doesn’t feel quite right. Few can find a pass-time that is healthy, relaxing, enjoyable, profitable, and opens the door for endless creativity. Plus, others can enjoy the results. As the business is very new, my focus is not on profit margins. In fact, I do not intend on turning a profit at this time. For now, I seek to create. I seek to learn, grow as a business, and make some beautiful work. I am very much interested in being the carpenter for your project. Let’s work together, find a comfortable price point, come up with a dream-worthy in-home carpentry project, and get to work. At this time, tables, table bases, benches, and shelves are in my immediate wheelhouse. However, I am open to discuss all ideas.
